About FUE hair transplant
What is a FUE hair transplant?
FUE (follicular unit extraction) involves removing groups of healthy hair follicles from the donor area – usually the back or sides of the head – and reimplanting them into the bald or thinning areas you’ve identified. FUE can be used to restore hair on your scalp, beard area, eyebrows, and other areas that require hair restoration.
Using the latest minimally invasive hair restoration techniques, we create natural hair transplant before and after results with faster recovery times and minimal scarring. This means patients can wear their hair as short as they want in the future without displaying noticeable signs of hair transplant surgery.

How does FUE hair transplant work?
FUE surgery is performed under local anesthetic. This ensures the procedure is as pain-free as possible. You can also take a sedative if you feel worried or tense.
A tiny punch is used to extract groups of follicles, or hair grafts, from the safe donor area at the back or side of your head. The punch is 0.75-1mm in diameter, depending on your hair type and the skin in your donor area. It creates tiny wounds that heal quickly and leave virtually no scarring.
The surgical team then implants the hair grafts into tiny incisions in your thinning areas, which are carefully designed for angulation, depth and hair direction, giving you a natural-looking result.

FUE is suitable for all types of hair restoration surgery, including beards, eyebrows, and hair across your temples and crown.

FUE is a simple procedure for skilled hair transplant surgeons. Experienced surgeons can expect to see FUE graft survival rates of more than 90%.
FUE surgery usually takes between 5 and 7 hours, and most procedures are finished in less than a day. The more grafts you need, the longer the procedure will take.
To make sure your hair transplant is a success, you should also take at least a couple of days off work to recover after the procedure.
At the Wimpole Clinic, we use a unique unshaven head technique (UFUE) that means you won’t need to shave your head beforehand (unless you want to).
So it’s easier to keep your hair transplant under wraps during the recovery period.

Several bus stops are within walking distance, including Biscayne Blvd & NE 195th St and Aventura Mall Bus Terminal. Routes 3, 9, and 120 connect Aventura with Downtown Miami, North Miami, and Miami Beach.
Brightline Aventura Station and Tri-Rail Aventura Station are approximately 1.5 miles away. Services connect Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, and wider South Florida, with taxis and rideshare available.
From I-95, take exit 16 or 12 and head east toward Biscayne Boulevard. Continue to 19495 Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 201, near Aventura Mall. Allow extra time during peak traffic.
The nearest airports are Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Miami International Airport. Taxi and rideshare journeys typically take 20 to 35 minutes, depending on traffic.
